فينوس خوري غاتا (بالفرنسية: Vénus Khoury-Ghata) (مواليد عام 1937، في بشري، لبنان) كاتبة فرنسية لبنانية.[3] عام 1959، انتخبت ملكة جمال بيروت. تزوجت من الباحث الفرنسي جان غاتا. وساهمت في مجلة أوروبا، التي يخرجها لويس أراغون، حيث كانت تترجمها إلى اللغة العربية.[4] عاشت فينوس في باريس منذ عام 1972، ونشرت العديد من الروايات والمجموعات الشعرية.[5]

سيرتها

ولدت فينوس خوري في بشري، بالقرب من بيروت، لعائلة مارونية. وهي ابنة جندي ناطق بالفرنسية وأم فلاحة، وتناولت في أعمالها طفولتها التي عاشتها في بشري،[6] وهي قرية جبلية ومسقط رأس الشاعر خليل جبران.[7][8] وهي الأخت الكبرى للصحفية والروائية مي منسى.[9][10]

في عام 1957 تزوجت من رجل أعمال ولكن لم يستمر الزواج.[8] درست الأدب في مدرسة الآداب العليا ببيروت. نشرت مجموعتها الشعرية الأولى «وجوه غير المكتملة» في عام 1966، وفي عام 1967، نشرت الأراضي الراكدة، بالاشتراك مع سيغيرز.[7] انتقلت إلى باريس عام 1972 هربًا من الحرب الأهلية في لبنان[11][12] وتزوجت من الطبيب والباحث الفرنسي جان غاتا.[13] نشرت روايتها الأولى عام 1971، بعنوان Les Inadaptés (غير المتناسق).[7]

في رواياتها، غالبا ما تكون المرأة في قلب كل شيء باعتبارها الشخصية الرئيسية بينما غالبًا ما يُشار إلى الرجال بازدراء.[13] وترى أنه مسؤول عن الخطيئة الأصلية، وعن «الشر الذي يبتلع المرأة».[13]

فازت فينوس خوري-غاتا بالجائزة الكبرى للشعر من الأكاديمية الفرنسية عام 2009 وجائزة غونكور للشعر عام 2011 عن Où vont les arbres (أين تذهب الأشجار).[7]

في عام 2018، انضمت إلى برلمان الكتاب الناطقين بالفرنسية إلى جانب الروائية الفرنسية بولا جاك وآخرين.[14]

نشرت فينوس حوالي أربعين رواية ومجموعة شعرية ترجمت إلى 15 لغة.[15]

ابنتها ياسمين غاتا هي كاتبة أيضا.[16]
